Join us at the Stony Point Battlefield State Historic Site for a presentation of Daring Revolutionary Women: Real & Legend. Saturday, August 22. 1:30PM-2:30PM. History has many stories about male heroics during the American Revolution, but not many in which female courage was displayed. This illustrated lecture by Site Interpreter Susan Overgard will highlight a few of the American and British women that performed brave deeds for their side, while also dispelling a few legends that sprung up after the war.
