The Historical Society of Rockland County presents, THE SPY AND THE TRAITOR: The André – Arnold Affair Day Trip. Saturday, August 8, 2026. 8:45AM-3:30PM. (Additional dates scheduled from September & October)! Step into one of the most dramatic episodes of the American Revolution.  Travel by motor coach and on foot as expert guides lead you through historic sites tied to espionage, intrigue, and betrayal – including the meeting site, Andrés trial location, and the place of his execution.  Along the way, you’ll gain vivid insight into the people, places and decisions that shaped the nation’s future.

Highlights include:

  • Guided tour of the Orangetown Museum’s exhibition: “A Spy in Our Midst.”
  • Guided walk in Dutchtown, near the André-Arnold meeting site
  • Exploration of key Revolutionary War landmarks in Tappan including the DeWint House
  • Luncheon at the legendary Old `76 House
