The Remarkable Landscape of Design of Mary Mowbray-Clarke

July 22

Don’t miss “The Landscape Design of Mary Mowbray-Clarke.” The Haverstraw Brick Museum’s latest exhibition highlights the life of Rockland’s very own Mary Mowbray-Clarke. A pioneer in every sense of the word, Mary’s story and contributions to the fields of perseveration, art education, and landscape architecture continue to have a lasting impact today. As the mother of the Modern Arts Movement, her career culminated in her magnum opus: The Dutch Gardens. This exhibition would not be possible without the generous donations of the Williamson Family, the Estate of Janet Newman, and a loan of materials from Justin Duerr. CLICK HERE for more information.

Museum Hours:
Saturday & Sunday: 1PM-4PM.
By Appointment: Tuesday-Thursday:  11AM-4PM.
