Rockland’s farms, farmstands and farmers’ markets provide an ample spread of fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables, baked goods and more. In addition to tours, many of our local farms offer seasonal apple and pumpkin picking for the whole family.

Dr. Davies Farm

306 Route 304, Congers

Since 1891, Dr. Davies Farm has provided a wide variety of fresh fruits and vegetables including apples, sweet corn and tomatoes. Features seasonal apple and pumpkin picking, hayrides and special events. Dr. Davies is also home to Red Barn Cidery– Rockland’s newest cidery! Dr. Davies Farm is open everyday May-December.

Haverstraw Farmers’ Market

Village Hall, Maple Avenue, Haverstraw

North Rockland’s only farmers’ market located in the Village of Haverstraw. Shop from locally grown produce every week including fresh fruits and vegetables, local herbs, plants, pastries, jams, pies, quiches, local honey, wines, artisan bread, and more. Sundays 9:00 AM -1:00 PM. Open June – November.

Nyack Farmers’ Market – A Four Season Outdoor Market

Main Street and Cedar Street, Nyack

Nyack Outdoor Farmers’ Market operates on Thursdays from 8:00 AM-2:00 PM in the Main Street Parking Lot in Downtown Nyack from April – December. Indoor Farmers’ Market operates Thursdays from 8:00 AM-2:00 PM at the Nyack Center from December – March. Features locally sourced fresh fruit and produce, baked goods, cheeses, wines, fresh-cut flowers, plants, and more from various vendors around Rockland County and the Hudson Valley region.

Orchards of Concklin

2 South Mountain Road, Pomona

Owned and operated by the Concklin family since 1712. The Orchards of Concklin is the oldest working farm in Rockland County. Featuring U-Pick apples and pumpkins; seasonal corn maze; home-baked pies, cookies, donuts, cakes and more from seasonal, farm-fresh ingredients. Open Tuesday-Sunday 9:00 AM-5:00 PM.

Threefold Community Farm

260 Hungry Hollow Road, Chestnut Ridge

Threefold Community Farm (formerly known as the Pfeiffer Center) practices, teaches, and promotes biodynamics. Open year-round, our self-serve Farm Store offers raw and pasteurized milk, yogurt, cheeses, teas, herbs, salves, honey and other seasonal products. Produce stand is open every Friday from mid-June to October. Call for hours.

Van Houten Farms

Offers one of the largest and most extensive selections of homegrown perennials, annuals, vegetables plants, roses, fresh produce, flowering shade trees, landscape screening, and shrubs or traditional and organic gardening supplies in Rockland County. Open mid-April through November. Monday-Saturday 9:00-7:00 PM. Sunday 9:00-6:00 PM.
