SUMMARY:Envision Rockland Comprehensive Plan Draft - Public Meeting
DESCRIPTION:County Seeks Public Feedback on Draft “Envision Rockland” Comprehensive Plan\nCounty Executive Ed Day and the Rockland County Planning Department invite residents to learn about the Draft Envision Rockland Comprehensive Plan and provide feedback on Wednesday\, March 25th\, 6:00 – 9:00 PM at the Rockland County Fire Training Center located at 35 Firemen’s Memorial Dr.\, Pomona. \nThe County will present the draft recommendations and key findings from the planning process at the public meeting and encourages community members to attend and provide input along with the Community Advisory Working Group. The agenda is as follows: \n6:00 – 6:30 PM – Open House: Review Draft Recommendations\n6:30 – 8:00 PM – Draft Plan Presentation + Public Comment\n8:00 – 9:00 PM – Working Group Discussion \nRegistrations are encouraged and can be made here. \nThis meeting marks the formal launch of the public review period for the Draft Envision Rockland Plan\, which will remain open through April 22nd. Residents will have several ways to provide feedback\, including written or public comments during the meeting\, and online submissions. \nThe Draft Plan will be posted on the project website on March 20th. Materials and additional information about the planning process can be found at www.envisionrockland.com. \nPrinted hard copies of the Draft Plan will also be available for review at the County Clerk’s Office as well as the Finkelstein\, Haverstraw Kings Daughters\, New City\, Orangeburg\, and Tomkins Cove libraries. \nResidents are encouraged to review the draft recommendations and share their input to help refine the plan before it is finalized. \nAn additional public hearing will be held as part of the state’s environmental review process. \nLearn more at www.envisionrockland.com. \n  \n
