SUMMARY:Solomon Northrup Statue Unveiling
DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday\, May 3\, 2025 at 1PM at the Haverstraw African American Memorial Park as HAAC welcomes the Solomon Northup “Hope Out of Darkness”  statue\, created by our favorite sculptor and family member Wesley Wofford.  The statue will remain in the park from May 3-July 7\, 2025.  There will also be a special program at this year’s Juneteenth Celebration in honor of the statue before it goes to its permanent home in Louisiana.  CLICK HERE for more information:
