SUMMARY:Spirits of the Salyer House
DESCRIPTION:Don’t miss the Orangetown Historical Museum & Archives presentation of “Spirits of the Salyer House.” Friday\, March 13\, 2026 at 5:30PM.  In this fictitious story set in 1996\, Orangetown Museum Director Maria McKay has successfully acquired the Salyer House and secured its place on the National Register of Historic Places. But as the house prepares to officially change hands\, it becomes clear that not all of its stories are ready to rest. A reclusive former owner who died under mysterious circumstances left behind a trove of local artifacts\, heirlooms\, and objects collected over a lifetime.  As the evening unfolds\, unexplained disturbances suggest the Salyer House may be home to more than just history. Join us as we step back in the 1990s to uncover the secrets woven into the Salyer House’s storied sandstone walls–and discover what\, or who\, may still linger within. Reservations required.  CLICK HERE for details.

SUMMARY:Caleb Weintraub: Both Sides of the Mirror
DESCRIPTION:Perry Lawson Fine Arts presents “Caleb Weintraub: Both Sides of the Mirror.” A new exhibition on view February 27-April 26\, 2026.  Weintraub’s work explores the tension between stability and disquiet\, treating the domestic space as both a source of comfort and the tension that unsettles it. Within these layered environments\, observation becomes both subject and object; watching and being watched coexist as inseparable conditions.
