“9/11 Never Forget” Mobile Exhibit Comes to Nyack This October

A powerful and immersive tribute to the events of September 11, 2001 is coming to Rockland County as the “9/11 Never Forget” Mobile Exhibit arrives at the Nyack Marina Lot for three days this fall. The traveling exhibit, created by the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, features artifacts recovered from Ground Zero—including steel beams and personal items—along with first-responder radio transmissions, video footage, and firsthand accounts that honor the courage and sacrifice of those impacted by the attacks.

Guided tours are led by FDNY firefighters, offering visitors a chance to hear personal stories of heroism, service, and resilience. The exhibit’s mission is to ensure that new generations understand the magnitude of 9/11 and to honor the legacy of those who gave their lives.

The exhibit will be open to the public October 9–11, 2025, at the Nyack Marina Lot, 1 Burd Street. Admission is free. Hours are Thursday, October 9, from 6:00–9:00 PM, and Friday and Saturday, October 10 and 11, from 12:00–9:00 PM.

Presented in partnership with the Rockland County Department of Economic Development & Tourism and the Village of Nyack, this special event offers an opportunity for the community to come together in remembrance and reflection.
